Nevada Humanities has announced the book selections for its statewide 2021 Nevada Reads program featuring two memoirs—Miracle Country: A Memoir by Kendra Atleework, and World of Wonders: In Praise of Fireflies, Whale Sharks, and Other Astonishments by Aimee Nezhukumatathil. Both eBooks are available to Las Vegas-Clark County Library District cardholders now with no waiting on OverDrive through the end of April!
The Library District Celebrates National Library Week 2021
National Library Week (April 4 - 10, 2021) is a time to celebrate our nation's libraries, library workers' contributions and promote library use and support. First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and observed in libraries across the country each April. All types of libraries - school, public, academic and special - participate.
