Women’s History Month 2024 at the Library District

Betty. Ruth. Eleanor. Aretha. Malala. Rosa. Pocahontas. Gaga. Amy. Kamala. Alice. Frida. Beyoncé. Taylor. Maya. Georgia. Dolly. Meryl. SallySerena. The first names of these fascinating women are shorthand for the contributions that they and countless others have made to politics, law, human rights, music, film, poetry, art, literature, sports, science, and so much more.

Each March, the Library District recognizes the progress of women everywhere, and library cardholders can do the same by checking out our collection of books, movies, music, events, and much more, inspired by courageous, talented, trailblazing women.

Don’t have a library card yet? You can #GetCarded on our website and enjoy instant access to our ever-growing catalog!
