Library District’s Lil’ Learner Literacy Program Gets Another Funding Boost from VegasTickets.com
LAS VEGAS (March 3, 2026) - A beloved early-learning initiative at Enterprise Library will continue through 2026 with renewed support from VegasTickets.com. Since launching in 2024, the Lil’ Learners Activity Kits have transformed traditional storytime into a portable, self-guided learning experience children can enjoy anytime, anywhere. Funded by the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District and local donors, the program is getting an additional $25,000 from VegasTickets.com, bringing its total investment in the program to $75,000 since its launch in 2024.
Bach to Beyonce at Windmill Library
In celebration of Black History Month, Vegas City Opera is paying homage to Beyoncé and songs of hers that were inspired by classical music, including her rendition of Ave Maria. The concert will explore her take on 25 Italian songs, as well as contemporary fan favorites. It's happening Saturday, Feb. 21, from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Windmill Library.
