LAS VEGAS (September 15, 2026) – In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District is hosting a dynamic lineup of FREE cultural programs, live performances, and educational events for all ages from September 15 through October 15, 2026. Residents across Southern Nevada are invited to experience classical guitar showcases, Latin jazz fusion concerts, traditional mariachi, interactive folk-art workshops and bilingual story times across The Library District’s 25 unique branches.
“Hispanic Heritage Month offers a powerful opportunity to honor the deep cultural roots, creative contributions and enduring resilience of Hispanic and Latinx communities,” said Las Vegas-Clark County Executive Director Kelvin Watson. “Our 2026 programming is designed to bring neighbors together through music, art and shared storytelling. Coupled with our vast collection of books, including works by Hispanic authors and digital media in both English and Spanish, and 24/7 online learning tools, we invite everyone to discover new traditions and celebrate with us all year long using your FREE library card.”

Nuestras Voces Historias Orales: Hispanic Heritage Oral History Project
Fridays (September 18 & 25; October 2, 9, 16 & 23), 2 p.m. – 5 p.m., East Las Vegas Library (All Ages) - Record a short video about your Hispanic heritage. The completed project will become part of the Library District’s Oral History Collection.
Día de Muertos Ofrendas – with artist Isaias Urrabazo
