The Blue Diamond Library was opened in 1970 in a small trailer purchased with a Federal Library Grant. In 1989, a local Blue Diamond resident constructed a new 1,000-square-foot library, which opened in 1992. It now houses over 8,000 volumes and serves the residents of Blue Diamond and Red Rock Township.
