“Then’ photos of neon signs from the Las Vegas News Bureau, and “now” photos of marquees on display at the Neon Museum.
Since 1947, the Las Vegas News Bureau has captured the sights and sounds of the city, and has played a unique role in promoting Las Vegas by capturing unforgettable images on film. The Bureau supports the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority’s marketing efforts by photographing and filming concerts, sports events, and red carpets and distributing the images to news media around the world. The collection is shared with the public through community exhibitions year round.
Founded in 1996, the Neon Museum is a non-profit organization dedicated to collecting, preserving, studying and exhibiting iconic Las Vegas signs for educational, historic, arts and cultural enrichment.
