Adhering to the order of the color spectrum (ROYGBIV), the Red Rock Pastel Society of Nevada began with their Red show in 2022 and then followed up with the Orange exhibition in 2023. Pastels. From Red to Orange features a selection from both exhibits. Curated by Dasha Jamison, President of the Red Rock Pastel Society of Nevada, the exhibit highlights how the colors red and orange evoked such a wide variety of subjects and emotion from artists across the globe, all united by a color and the soft pastel medium. This exhibit also includes select pieces by the exhibit jurors, Margaret Larlham, Corey Pitkin, and other world-renowned artists including Tony Allain, Dawn Emerson and Sergey Pietila.
