A Conjugation of Light features new oil and pastel paintings by artist and former UNLV professor José Bellver. His new color-field works, influenced by Mark Rothko, are intended to be a part of the environment and enhance the space they occupy rather than live as individual paintings or objects. These ethereal artworks focus purely on our perception of color through light and explore it as a spiritual consciousness.
