Artist Statement
In a world where the boundaries between the digital and physical realms are increasingly blurred, my work seeks to bridge the gap between traditional artistry and contemporary digital techniques. As a digital artist, I am deeply inspired by the rich history of traditional painting and photography, striving to capture the essence and tactile beauty of these classic forms through modern technology.
My creative process begins with a deep appreciation for the techniques and aesthetics of traditional art. Each piece I create is meticulously crafted using digital tools that mimic the textures, strokes, and nuances of traditional media. The digital artwork is then printed on different physical mediums, as limited edition collections.
Photography plays a crucial role in my work as well. I often blend photographic elements with digital painting to create compositions that are both realistic and fantastical. This hybrid approach allows me to explore other subject matters, presenting them in a way that feels refreshingly new.
Every time I create an image, I ask myself; what feeling do I want this piece to evoke on the viewer? - The goal is to keep pushing myself by creating unique art and exploring the possibilities of mixing digital and traditional media to turn my creations into timeless works of art while embracing the versatility and innovation of digital platforms.
I want people to connect to my form of expression and experience art in a new manner.
Living in multiple countries and traveling extensively has allowed me to draw inspiration and to learn from the plethora of cultures and beautiful places throughout the continents of Europe and North America.
