Desert Pines High School: VIDA

VIDA is a compilation of a series of photographs created by the Desert Pines High School AS Advance Studies Photography Class.

In VIDA (life), the artists invite viewers into their own personal experiences. The artists collected a diverse assortment of images capturing intimate moments from their busy lives. These temporary experiences, captured through the camera lens by each individual artist, are key for immersing the viewer into the artists' experiences.

The AS Advance Studies Photography Class is led by the instructor Javier Sanchez at Desert Pines H.S. where students have the opportunity to learn, develop, and express their own and unique artistic ideas. Desert Pines High School is a 9-12 urban public high school in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is a part of the Clark County School District. The school opened in 1999 and houses the award-winning Desert Pines H.S. Magnet Academy.

The mission of the Desert Pines High School community is to embrace and live true to our core values inspiring our students and staff to become the best version of themselves.
