September 8 – November 16, 2019

Dale L. Cox’s paintings focus on nostalgia, beauty, and subjects the artist knows and loves. Pit Stops Along the Way depicts service stations and other places the artist has stopped at during his travels.

Dale L. Cox, a long-time resident of Southern Nevada, was born in Kansas City, MO. After graduating from Raytown High School, he volunteered to serve in the U.S. Army and later the Air Force. Upon receiving an honorable discharge from the military, Cox earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts. After his retirement from an engineering degree, Cox pursued his love of art, woodworking, and travel. Cox’s paintings have been exhibited in galleries around the Las Vegas Valley and are in the collections of the Atomic Testing Museum and the Valley of Fire Visitors Center State Museum.
