A look into the wonder and majesty of nature through the plant life home to New York Botanical Gardens. Photography of the plants and bugs that keep us alive and healthy.
Artist's Statement:
Life blooms with grace all around us, showing us each and every day the intricate balance that lies between one ecosystem to the next. All across this Earth, flowers and trees, birds and bees blanket the landscape and paint the horizons in ever changing oceans of color and light. We are but visitors on the vast living spaceship we call home, and are so lucky to share this globe with one of the rarest things in the known universe: Plant Life. We are the only known planet to fully support life as we know it, and we should revel in the utter vastness of its diversity. Every plant you see lives and grows in different ways from its neighbor, much in the exact same way we live and grow as people. To be so lucky as to share the ground with one of nature’s most beautiful paintings, is something I am grateful for each and every day, and I wanted to share it with you.
