The Holocaust was the genocide of over six million Jews, and millions of non-Jews, by the Nazis and their collaborators during World War II. This event was a watershed in human history and the world was forever changed by it. Survivors of the Holocaust were eyewitnesses to the most brutal events in human history. This informative banner exhibit is designed around the question most people ask those who went through the Holocaust: How Did You Survive? Historical context is provided and viewers are introduced to a variety of survivor experiences.
