My recent work investigates the 'Third Space', a psychological and cultural site where my Puerto Rican heritage, my family’s Korean roots, and our life in the American desert converge. By merging traditional oil painting with 3D-modeled sculptural elements, I create a hybrid visual language that reflects the complexity of a multi-cultural existence. These works move beyond mere 'representation' to create a new, lived mythology where the cosmic, the domestic, and the ancestral coexist on a single plane. --Manny Perez
