The West Las Vegas Library is a community‑driven cultural and educational anchor designed to expand access to learning, creativity, and opportunity in one of Las Vegas’s most historically underserved neighborhoods. Built through extensive community engagement and shaped by the Historic Westside’s legacy, the library delivers Future‑Ready Learning across all ages while integrating essential partner services that strengthen educational, cultural, and economic resilience.
Goals
The West Las Vegas Library was created to expand equitable access to learning, bridge the digital divide, and strengthen community resilience through Future‑Ready education, creative spaces, and workforce, and family services. The library removes long‑standing barriers to education and wellbeing.
Results & Impact
Results demonstrate transformative impact. Circulation is up 200–300%, gate count rose 105% to 170,046 visitors. Programs expanded to 1,309 events with 25,266 attendees, and the Kids lunch programs served 2,976 children. These results reflect trust, and renewed access to education and culture.

Every environment reflects local values and aspirations, allowing the library to function as both a civic landmark and a community living room.
