The Adult Learning Program is funded in part by the Nevada Department of Education and the Office of Career, Technical and Adult Education, under Title II of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). Participants in WIOA funded programs are provided with the necessary support, education, and professional training.
English Classes
Our Adult Learning Program offers English classes for non-native English speakers who wish to improve their English skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing to develop workforce readiness skills.

- Adults wishing to participate are expected to commit to attending class daily.

High School Equivalency
The Adult Learning Program offers HiSET (High School Equivalency Testing). The HiSET provides adults with the opportunity to earn their Nevada Certificate of High School Equivalency. The certificate is widely recognized as the equivalent of a high school diploma.
Requirements:
- Read state requirements
- Create a HiSET Test Taker account.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Not currently enrolled in High School.
- Have a valid Nevada photo ID that shows name, address, date of birth, signature, and photograph.
HiSET Test:
The High School Equivalency Test Consists of 5 subtests: reading, writing, math, science, & social studies. Each subtest costs $20 for a total of $100 for all 5 tests. After students pass all the HiSET tests, Nevada issues them with a high school equivalency certificate.

HiSET Prep Class
Prep class for students interested in taking the HiSET exam. Completion of the minimum requirement of hours in the class will result in a waived HiSET testing fee.
