Book Donations

To donate books or find great used materials at affordable prices, visit any Library District branch. Our used book stores are generally open during regular library hours.

The Library District operates used bookstores in multiple branches, offering gently-used items donated by the public as well as materials withdrawn from our collection. All proceeds directly support Library District programs and services.

What you can donate:

  • Books for all ages: fiction and nonfiction, paperback and hard cover
  • Audiobooks
  • CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays, and vinyl records
  • Magazines in all categories

We are unable to accept damaged, stained, or moldy items, or VHS or cassette tapes.

Large Donations: Donations larger than two or three boxes may need to be delivered to the Sahara West Library Warehouse due to limited space at most branches. Appointments are required for all large-donation drop-offs. Please call 702.507.3686 for details and to schedule an appointment.

Library District staff can provide a receipt for your donation when you drop off your items.
