Branch Information

The growing community of Sandy Valley began in the 1800s as the four mining communities of Kingston, Sandy, Ripley, and Platina. Very little is left of the mining era, and over 1,700 horse lovers and rural folks reside here now. The library, which started as a closet in the old Community Center in 1984, now occupies 1,200 square feet with over 6,200 volumes in a new shared Community Center/Library. It offers free wireless Internet access.
