Vote For the Library District Foundation's Holiday Wreath of Hope to Help Support Library Programs
Using skills honed at the library, local teens have created a “Love & Light” holiday wreath that represents the inclusive nature of libraries as part of a competition that will support Library District programming. Teens at the Clark County Library Best Buy Teen Tech Center decorated the wreath with symbols of library programs such as music, technology, arts & crafts, literacy and more using origami, die-cutting machines, 3D-printers, and old circuit boards. The wreath was entered on behalf of the Library District Foundation in the Boyd Gaming Wreaths of Hope decorating competition. You can see the teen’s creation in the video below and in person at the Gold Coast Hotel & Casino. All participating nonprofit organizations will receive a donation from Boyd Gaming, but you can help boost the donation to the Library District Foundation with your vote!
