David Leiserowitz (b. 1988) is a self-taught artist currently working out of Las Vegas, where he was born and raised. Leiserowitz’s artistic passion, despite being undiscovered for most of his life, was ignited when he picked up his first paintbrush in 2016 and began his career as a painter. Since then, his practice has evolved from his realistic commission work to a more exploratory phase, experimenting with new techniques and styles.
Experimenting with different styles, Leiserowitz has taken the opportunity to display a broad range of technique while transitioning from his usual work in realism. Leiserowitz uses imagined forms to put a contemporary twist on the cubism movement that inspired this body of work. From loose gestural marks to more refined intentional detail, From Nothing To Something is an examination of the beauty that can be found in both chaos and order.
