Black History Month celebrates the diverse voices, histories, perspectives, and experiences of the Black community, and each February, we honor its rich culture and significant contributions to every aspect of American life.
To commemorate the month-long celebration, the Library District offers a variety of FREE events and programs for kids, teens, and adults. From live concerts and dance performances, to author visits, art exhibits, and craft classes, we have something for everyone at our 25 unique branches throughout the month.
