21ST CENTURY LIBRARY OPENS IN EAST LAS VEGAS: The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District (LVCCLD) will celebrate the grand opening of its new library in East Las Vegas on Thursday, April 25 at 10 a.m. The 41,051-square-foot facility, located at 2851 East Bonanza Road, includes innovative 21st century design elements, as well as free educational resources, materials, and programs for library users of all ages. The old Las Vegas Library building located at 833 North Las Vegas Blvd. now belongs to the City of Las Vegas and is no longer a library site.
