LAS VEGAS, NV - The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District unveiled six new library cards that they began distributing today. Why is this news? Because the cards will feature artwork from the winners of the district's first #GetCarded Library Card Design Contest.
The announcement comes as a way to celebrate National Library Lovers' Month. The contest yielded nearly 700 entries from people who were asked to submit a piece of art that reflects what the library means to them. Over 3,000 votes on Facebook determined the six winners of the contest.
