The NV Energy Foundation has generously donated $5,000 to the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District Foundation to support Engineering for Kids classes at several library branches. These classes will connect young children to STEAM project learning experiences, free of charge, after school and during school breaks. The project curriculum will cover aeronautic, computer, civil, mechanical, electrical, marine, chemical engineering, game design, and robotics. These unique learning experiences will help bridge the digital divide and prepare the next generation for STEM careers.
The NV Energy Foundation has been a long-time supporter of the Foundation, supporting programs such as Little Bits and Teen Tech Labs. Through direct grants, scholarships, and employee grant programs, the NV Energy Foundation actively supports improvements in the quality of life in NV Energy's service territories.
