The library curbside service will comply with guidelines issued for private sector restaurants and eateries, per the State of Nevada updated mandates as of February 15, 2021.

Below are the steps to follow:

1. Curbside Pick-Up Service is only available for customers who have a valid and eligible library card. Apologies, but "Computer Use Only" cardholders are not eligible for Cubrside Pick-Up Service. Please ask your nearest library branch how you can update to this type of library card. 
2. Library materials may be returned through the Library District’s outside book returns, which are available 24/7, or by returning them to an inside return. All checked out items can be deposited in the outside Book Returns except iPads, Hotspots, American Girl Dolls, and items from our Toy Library; these must be returned to a service desk inside of the branch. All returned items will be quarantined. Items will continue to show as checked out to your account during quarantine; however,  we backdate all items once they are removed from quarantine so you will not be responsible for any late fines that accrue during the quarantine.  Replacement costs and fees will still be charged for any items that are long overdue.
3. Each participating branch will have a designated curbside pick-up area.
4. Items will be transferred to the library customer without contact. Library employees will wear gloves, protective vests, and face masks.
5. Customers must call in advance to schedule a pick-up of holds and/or request items from the library to be picked up. Please have your library card number ready to make your request over the phone. 
6. Additional items cannot be added at the time of pick up, but customers are welcome to place additional holds via phone or the website and come back for another pick up.
7. Pick-ups may be scheduled a maximum of five days in advance.
8. Curbside pick-up service is available to customers who arrive on foot, via bicycle, or in any motorized vehicle, as long as they follow curbside pick-up protocols.
