How do I suggest a digital title for purchase?

Use the steps below to suggest digital titles that are not currently available in the library's collection.

1. Search for the title in Libby.

2. Look for the "Notify Me" button.

  • If the title appears in your search results and includes a Notify Me button, select it to recommend the title to the library.
  • If you do not see the title and there are fewer than 100 search results, scroll to the bottom of the results page and select Deep Search. This will search for matching titles that are not currently in the library's collection.
    • If you search returns more than 100 results, try a more specific search using the book's full title and author name. If you still cannot find the title, it may not be available for purchase through Libby or may not be published in a digital format.

3. Watch for notifications.

  • If the library purchases the title, you will receive a notification.
  • Once available, you can either borrow the title or place a hold depending on availability.

Please note: Submitting a recommendation does not guarantee that the title will be purchased by the library.
