Your library card is now your ticket to a FREE Family Adventure Pass to the DISCOVERY Children's Museum! The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District and Library Foundation are proud to partner with the DISCOVERY Children's Museum to offer a new item for families with children which lets up to four family members receive entry to the museum with a pass that can be checked out, just like a book, at any of the Library District's 25 branches located across Southern Nevada.
Support for this new service is provided by the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District Foundation as part of their community collaborations to help improve local early childhood learning conditions. The Library District, Library Foundation, and DISCOVERY Children's Museum have been working together to educate parents and caregivers on the critical brain-building period from children ages birth to five. In response to this, the Library District has significantly expanded the number and types of programs for infants and toddlers that are offered across the valley, from reading to crafts to science experiments. DISCOVERY Children’s Museum also offers a range of activities that ignite a lifelong love of learning and the ability to explore, create, and tinker with STEAM-related hands-on activities. Through a variety of library and museum experiences, parents are able to get creative while preparing today’s youth for academic and real-life success.
The Library District, Foundation, and the DISCOVERY Children's Museum have merged missions to focus on increasing early learning opportunities for 160,000 children, ages birth through five, who live in Clark County. With varied learning experiences early in life, children will master the tools that help them thrive academically, leading to tremendous long-term individual and community benefits. So stop by the Library District branch nearest you and check out your FREE Family Adventure Pass!
