The Las Vegas News Bureau and the Nevada State Museum have thousands of unidentified photographs and need the public’s assistance in identifying the people and places in the images. Visitors are asked to participate by contributing any information they may have about the photographs on display.
The Las Vegas News Bureau, part of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, has worked with news agencies for over 70 years to photograph and maximize exposure of news and events in southern Nevada.
The Nevada State Museum, Las Vegas, located within the Springs Preserve, has thousands of photographs dating from the late 1890s to the 2000s. From Hoover Dam to casinos, the photo collection is a treasure of southern Nevada history.
