Kenny James’ World of Music & More

Kenny James was born in Waterbury, Connecticut and reared by parents whose lives revolved around the arts and entertainment. He was fascinated with architecture, which led him to focus his public school education on fine arts. With encouragement from his art teacher, he applied and attended the prestigious Paier College of Art in Hamden, CT. During his two years at Paier, he focused on graphic design and painting.

After finishing his education at Paier, James began a career in music and continues to perform all over the world as a vocalist/all-around entertainer. During his global travels, he has experienced many different cultures that have influenced his art.

The artworks in this exhibit are a representation of an artist influenced by jazz, musicians, and dance (especially the Argentinian-style tango).
