A Conjugation of Light features oil paintings by artist and former UNLV professor José Bellver. His color-field works, influenced by Mark Rothko, are intended to be a part of the environment and enhance the space they occupy; rather than live as individual paintings or objects. These ethereal artworks focus purely on our perception of color through light and explore it as a spiritual consciousness.
