Christine Curtis Wilson: Beyond Glass: My Resin & Acrylic Art Explorations

Beyond Glass: My Resin & Acrylic Art Explorations is a deeply personal reflection of my evolution as an artist. My creative journey began with glass—drawn to its ability to capture, reflect, and transform light. Working with stained and fused glass taught me to appreciate the interplay of color, transparency, and movement, and those creations continue to shape my art today. As I ventured into epoxy resin and acrylic paint on canvas, wood panels and butcher block, I discovered new ways to express the luminous qualities I loved in glass. Each piece in this collection is an experiment in layering, pouring, and guiding colors—embracing the abstract and joy of discovery that first drew me to glasswork. The process is both meditative and exhilarating, echoing the rhythms of nature and the shifting landscape of emotion. Through these works, I invite you to look beyond the surface and experience the energy, curiosity, and wonder that fuel my art. Whether it’s the shimmer of resin, the boldness of color, or the sense of movement within each piece, my hope is that you’ll find a connection to the same sense of possibility that inspires me every day. Thank you for joining me on this journey—beyond glass, and into new realms of creativity. --Christine Curtis Wilson
